TREASURES OF GREEK ART

The frescos of the Neolithic age in Thira are the oldest samples of a unique realistic painting tecnique in Europe, enriching significally the field of the history of the European art.

The designer Yiorgos Poniros influenced by the artists if that era who were mostly traveleres, combines his cosmopolitan aura with his successful earthy design techniques.

The spiral detail of the frescos inspired the designer Yiorgos Poniros to create the Akrotiri Collection decorating his pieces with white and black diamonds of 18kt gold with great respect and love for the art and the Greek civilization.
