Diamonds
Nestled deep within the Earth over billions of years, diamonds are the ultimate symbol of brilliance, strength, and eternity. Renowned for their unmatched sparkle and purity, they embody love, rarity, and luxury. Whether clear and radiant or vividly colored, each diamond is a unique treasure — a piece of light you can hold forever. Most natural diamonds are formed 150–200 km underground, under extreme heat and pressure. They are brought to the surface through powerful volcanic eruptions.
As gemstones, diamonds are graded by the “4 Cs”. This is the universal standard for evaluating and comparing diamonds, established by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) to determine a diamond’s beauty and value:
- Cut – how well the stone is shaped and faceted, affecting brilliance.
- Color – the less color, the higher the grade, though fancy colored diamonds like blue, pink, or yellow are rare and valuable.
- Clarity – absence of inclusions or flaws.
- Carat weight – size of the stone.
Emeralds
Emeralds are among the rarest and most storied gemstones, and their origins add to their mystique. Unlike diamonds, which dazzle with brilliance, emeralds mesmerize with a velvety glow. Their color is their soul: a vivid, lush green often touched with hints of blue.
Inner Character
Most emeralds carry natural inclusions, called jardin (“garden” in French), which look like tiny landscapes inside the stone. Far from being flaws, they give each emerald a unique fingerprint and a sense of life within.
Emeralds are beautifully paired with yellow gold, its warm, rich tone oenhances the deep green of emeralds and creates a regal, timeless look.
Sapphires
Sapphires are most famous for their deep blue hues, ranging from pale cornflower blue to
rich, velvety navy. The intensity and saturation of the color can make a sapphire appear almost alive,
drawing the eye into its depths. Beyond blue, sapphires exist in a beautiful array of colors—pink, yellow, green.
Luminosity
Sapphires have a high refractive index, giving them a luminous sparkle when cut and
polished. The gemstone can play with light subtly, creating a soft, elegant glow rather than
the sharp flash of diamonds. Properly cut, sapphires have a mystical depth, seeming to glow from within.
Paired with diamonds or gold, they become a symbol of refinement and timeless luxury, perfect for both classic and modern creations
Rubies
Rubies are prized for their rich red hues, ranging from deep crimson to vibrant cherry red. The intensity of the color gives the stone a fiery, captivating presence, making it immediately eye-catching. Often described as the heart of gemstones, the red color symbolizes passion, energy, and life.
Brilliance & Luster
Rubies have a hardness of 9 on the Mohs scale, second only to diamonds, giving them durability for everyday wear. Their natural transparency and reflective qualities create a subtle inner glow, enhancing their elegance without overpowering a design. They symbolize passion, courage, and protection, giving them emotional as well as creative value. Rubies bring vivid color and sophistication to any design, whether paired with diamonds for contrast or set alone for a bold statement.
